Mt. Kuring-gai

Perched on a rocky escarpment nestled into the trees and rocks of the Mt Kuring-Gai national park sits this beautiful multi-level home.

Constructed of a steel sub-floor section, treated timber frame upper section and a brochure quality home for Weathertex cladding. The whole roof is made from LVL’s and is a multi-skillion roof with raked eaves cut onsite requiring detailed carpentry.

This home’s finish and design is perfect for the area, with the perfect use of timber and tiles. From the moment you step onto the entry meandering walkway that leads to the large timber front door and to the massive pool deck, you are mesmerised by the detail in the building and the natural features that remain there. Following the timber walk you discover the custom concrete pool that has been cut into rock with beautiful rock feature wall and water feature. In the pool area is the BBQ area which overlooks the pool where you can enjoy the perfect pool party.

Inside the home is as breathtaking as the outside. This home has a bedroom wing and a living wing spread out over the double block. The living wing has a free-flowing layout with large raked high ceilings in the living room and Media room that lead onto separate decks with large bi-fold doors. A fireplace is a nice addition to any living room. This space really brings the outdoor and indoor living into one. It has an open design where the kitchen is part of the living and has every convenience you could want. Below the living and media room is a large rumpus room, laundry / bathroom, double garage and wine cellar. Over to the bedroom wing there is an office, main bathroom, four bedrooms and one having an ensuite. All the rooms have raked ceilings and have very unique private views of either the pool or the endless views over the national park. The home has ducted air condition, fireplace, heated bathroom floors and thermally efficient windows with extra noise insulation being added to give the house a very private ambient feel. The home owners couldn’t be happier with the way their dream home became a reality.
